Scherry Messic, Ph.D.
Dr. Scherry Messic has 25 years experience working with individuals, couples, families, and individuals of most ages as a licensed clinical psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist. As an Area Network Director for 1-800 Therapist, she operates a therapy information and referral service. As a Certified Addictions Specialist, she works extensively in the area of treatment of substance abuse and its affect on major life areas such as relationships, children, families, and employment. Dr. Messic has worked in a variety of settings, specializing in treatment for people with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders. She has provided numerous trainings on this and other topics. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the San Diego Psychological Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
